More Story Ideas Than Slots? Not Anymore.

More Story Ideas Than Slots? Not Anymore. π¨
Ever been here before?
You're deep into building one story, and before you've even finished, another idea just pops into your head. Something with a totally different vibe this time β a dark mystery, maybe, or a soft romance. A new protagonist is already talking to you.
But when you go to start a new project, the "New Project" button is greyed out and locked. The free plan capped you at 2. So right at that exciting moment, you had to wrap one up or tell yourself "eh, I'll make it later." Yeah, that always bugged me too.
So today, I've got some good news.

π 1. You can now make up to 5, for free
First things first: your free plan now lets you create up to 5 projects β more than double the old limit of 2. No code, no payment.
And there's nothing to apply for or toggle. It's already live, so the moment you log in, the extra slots are just there. If you'd been stuck at the cap, you'll see that greyed-out "New Project" button come right back to life.
π± 2. The joy of growing several stories at once
Creativity doesn't always move in a straight line, right? Some days you're feeling romance, the next a mystery, and sometimes a little short story just shows up on your commute.
Now you can leave a work-in-progress exactly as it is and spin up a whole new world. Stuck on one? Hop over to another for a bit, clear your head, then come back. Honestly, I love that rhythm β sometimes the wall in one story quietly dissolves while you're busy playing in another.
Five slots is just the right amount of room to keep a few worlds alive side by side.

π€ 3. Why bump it from 2 to 5?
I'll be honest with you. We made this change after watching so many of you finish your two projects and pause there, thinking "I want to make more, butβ¦".
Seeing creative momentum get cut short by a slot limit felt like a real waste to us, too. When the urge to create is at its hottest, the last thing a tool should do is say "that's far enough."
So before putting up any paywall, we wanted to open more room on the free plan first. The joy of making comes first β everything else can come later.

β¨ 4. Reach the end? Publish in one click
Once you've built your story all the way to its ending, there's another exciting moment, right? The urge to show it to someone.
That moment just got a lot simpler. Reach an ending, and a single click sends it to the gallery β no fiddling with settings. And the gallery now surfaces recommended works, so quietly-buried gems get seen by more people. Your story gets a real shot at meeting new readers.
π¬ Soβ¦ ready to start a new one?
Five slots is really just another way of saying: "it's okay to make more."
Don't worry about starting perfectly. Just open that first scene β the one already playing in your head β and go from there. The rest tends to follow once you're in it. π
