The Hide character block removes a character from the screen. Use it when a character leaves the scene or when you want to clear the stage before a transition.

Key Properties

• Character to hide (characterId) — The character to remove from the screen.

Usage Tips

• Clean up before transitions — Hide the characters from the current scene before a Background block changes the background to make the transition feel natural.
• When a conversation ends — When a specific character walks away, Hide character removes them from view and makes it clearer who is speaking next.
• Multiple characters at once — To remove several characters together, chain a Hide character block for each.
• For a full reset, use Background — If you want to clear everyone at once, it is often simpler to transition with a new Background block.
